The American nu metal band is called as the slipknot and it was brought into the limelight from Iowa. The present membership consists of Craig Jones, Sid Wilson, Corey Taylor, Joey Jordison, Mick Thomson, Shawn Crahan, Chris Fehn, Paul Gray and Jim Root.
The origin of the troupe dates back to the year 1992. The sound produced by the band has been termed as “the threshing machine devouring a military drum corps”. The instruments include the guitar set up with electronics and two percussionists apart from the primary drummer. Some of the specialties of the slipknot band includes hip hop, industrial and extreme metal.
