It was in during the 20th century that Jazz was introduced to be an American musical instrumental form. It was started by the African American communities along the Southern part of United States. The entire aspect was brought about with relation to the European as well as African traditions of music. The dependence on West African community can be proved from the call and response, blue notes, polyrhythms, improvisations, ragtime swung note and syncopation. With the development of music from ages, there have been variations made on the Jazz instruments with influences from different nations. The term Jazz was introduced from the West Coast Slang and was used to correlate to the music of Chicago.
