Guns are defined to be any kind of object which has the ability to propel or shoot out another projectile or a particle. The barrel of the gun is a narrow and hollow tube of the object through which the particle is fired out. The present day guns are known to as rifles having a series of spiraling grooves which is present throughout the barrel. Certainly, there are exceptions which include the tanks, some artillery and the AFVs.
The word gun is also referred to as firearm by the civilians. On the other hand, the gun termed as artillery when it comes to military usage. They include the naval guns having the ability to shoot out the projectile at seriously high velocity.
