A baby is defined as an infant or a child who is younger in age. It is also referred to a child of human species mostly before they could walk and do things on their own. A baby who is categorized under the age of one is known as an infant. They are called as a neonate and include premature infants, post mature infants and full term newborns.
After attaining the age of one and they begin to walk, the baby or the child is known as toddlers. The stages of their life progress and these are considered to be very different from the earlier stages of their life. It is during this stage, they start performing things on their own.
