The footwear band originated from America was known as Etnies and was confined to the Lake Forest situated in California. It was possessed by the masters of skateboarding known as Sole Technology. Primarily, Etnies are known to be the major footwear designers and producers of skateboarding but very recently they have started making shoes and clothes even for the snowboarders. Apart from them they also offer the same to motor cross riders, BMX and the surfers too.

The brand was started up in the year 1986 with the name Etnics. The word was derived from the name “Ethnic” which was a major concern to the skate boarders.
