A rural area which is just denoted by its existence is known as boondocks. It is a remote area where the complete place seems to be brushy and marshy all over. The word was derived from the Tagalog word “bundok� which refers to mountains. There seems to be very similar to mountains with harsh and rough road all over.

Boondocks are the word which has been evolved to replace the American word country stating the rural or village area. It is exactly the opposite of urban life where plain and open lands usually come in sight. Boondockers are known to be the equipments which are taken along for traveling while you in the boondocks.
